Dr. Mayer Katz received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his residency at Boston City Hospital and his surgical internship at the University of California Medical School in San Francisco, California. After his return from deployment and service in Vietnam, Dr. Katz established a vascular program at Bloit Memorial Hospital in Beloit, Wisconsin. He returned to the Lewes area in 1989 to establish a vascular program and is now a member of Beebe Medical Groups' vascular practice.
He specializes in non-coronary aneurysm repair, aneurysm stenting, angioplasty with stent placement, arterial graft, carotid artery stent placement, embolectomy, thrombectomy or vessel exploration, endovascular repair, and non-coronary angioplasty, atherectomy, and stenting.
